We are excited to invite you to the City of Newark’s Men’s Breakfast Meeting, hosted by Mayor Ras J. Baraka, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Robert Treat Hotel, Tri-State Ballroom (50 Park Place, Newark, NJ 07102), starting promptly at 10:00 AM.
This year's event will feature an extraordinary keynote speaker: John Hope Bryant, a nationally recognized powerhouse in the fields of economics, financial literacy, and wealth-building. His leadership and insight have inspired millions to take control of their financial futures, and his presence in Newark will no doubt make this event one for the ages.
We encourage all brothers, leaders, mentors, and young men to be in the room for this empowering experience. Tickets will be available at 10 17th Avenue, Newark, NJ (Wednesday 4/23/25). Seating is limited, so please secure your spot soon.

BREAK THE SILENCE: DENIM DAY 2025
Join us in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence and take a stand against victim-blaming.
DATE: April 24, 2025
TIME: 4 PM - 7 PM

What to Expect:
• Community Forums: Engage in critical conversations about justice, healing, and systemic change.

Why Denim?
In 1992, an 18-year-old survivor in Italy was blamed for her assault because her jeans were deemed “too tight” to remove without consent. When the court overturned her attacker’s conviction in 1999, activists worldwide protested by wearing denim as a symbol of resistance. Denim Day was born to challenge harmful myths and stand with survivors.
